Broken Structures
This series of digital collages explores the structures that shape human experience — mechanical, architectural, cultural, and social. Some of these frameworks support us and form part of our identity, while others become invisible burdens that restrict movement and change. By reassembling fragments of familiar forms into unexpected compositions, the works reflect on how structures inevitably transform, deteriorate, or evolve over time. Through irony, playfulness, and subtle disruption, each collage becomes a constructed narrative that questions stability, authority, and permanence, inviting viewers to reconsider the systems that both sustain and confine us.
"… the artist invites the spectator to take a journey within the realm of the canvas…This journey is the skeleton, the framework of the idea… the artist will have the spectator pause in certain points and will regale him with special seductions… is an additional factor helping to maintain interest".
Mark Rothko
